6th Annual Fall Family Festival held at the facility in mid to late October to an opportunity to see the horses, hear their stories, and learn about the care and needs of these magnificent creatures. Find out about the programs that help individuals develop curtail life skills taught by these once abused and neglected horses, as a partner in the group of participants and facilitated by our Certified Horse Assisted Learning and Skills Development Professionals. Offering camps, clinics, and "Horse" Assisted Learning and Life Skills Development Programs for age eight and up.
All Programs and Activities go directly to Feed, Hay, Veterinary cost along with the ongoing health needs of special needs horses.
Mission statements – Rescue/Assist in the Rescue of endangered Horses. Stop animal (Horse) Abuse through Education. We are working with at-risk youth and adults to increase self-confidence, coping, and reasoning skills. The facility provides a permanent refuge for the rescued horses.
Company policies – Osborne Stables Equine Rescue, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization. The horses who come to live here have health and physical limitations; thus when we set up the rescue, it was always meant to be a forever home, giving them a chance to heal and thrive. We serve a vast demographic of people, who both come to help the horses and also come to find a sense of peace and growth through the horses.
